Set your angle

Type of role

Pick the kind of role you want this answer to sound right for.

Answer level

This is about the level of answer you want to give, not a strict job-title check.

Step 2

Pick the interview question

These are common behavioral questions worth preparing for. The top options are the ones most likely to fit general / something else roles.

Step 3

Choose your answer format

An answer format helps you cover the full shape of the story — easy to follow, clear about your role, and landing on a real outcome.

Step 4

Fill in the story

Keep it honest, concrete, and more specific than feels comfortable.

Interview answers, answered

What is the STAR method?
Situation, Task, Action, Result — a structure for answering “tell me about a time” questions so the story has a shape instead of wandering. This builder also offers PAR (Problem, Action, Result) for tighter answers, and DCI (Decision, Context, Impact) when the point of the story is a judgment call you made.
Will it write the answer for me?
It will not invent anything. You supply the story in four short blocks and it assembles and tightens them, preserving your meaning, your ownership and the impact you actually stated. It will not add a metric, an outcome or a responsibility that is not already in what you wrote.
How long should a behavioral answer be?
About sixty to ninety seconds spoken, which is roughly 130 to 200 words. The builder shows the speaking time for the answer it produced, and tells you when the setup is running long relative to the part interviewers listen hardest to — what you personally did.
Can I keep the answer?
The draft lives in this browser as you write it, so a refresh will not lose it. Keeping it beyond that needs a free account, which saves it to an Answer Library you can reuse across jobs — and what you have already written comes with you when you sign up.
