Why not just use a spreadsheet or ChatGPT?
We've been there too. Spreadsheets get unwieldy fast, and they tell you what happened — not what to do next or how to get better results. AI tools help with analysis, but it's hard to tune them to your specific goals, get consistent data out, or store anything reliably over time. We've tried that combo, and we think this is better.
Is it just another AI resume builder?
No. The focus here is tracking and interview prep — insights, prep kits, and mock interviews. You can manage resumes and cover letters here too, but the best way to stand out isn't another ultra-customized AI résumé. It's being the best version of you.
Do I have to use the @heyvitae.co email or Spotlight page?
Nope — both are optional ways to automate your search. Use the email as a professional address right on application forms, forward selectively when you want things tracked, or skip both and just use the tracking and prep features on their own.
Can I try it free?
Yes — free to try with up to 20 jobs and most features. If you're serious about your search you'll likely want a paid plan (starting at $19), but we think it's worth it.
