Before you buy

  • When do their six months start?

    The day they claim it, not the day you buy it. A gift that sits unopened for a month loses nothing, so there is no wrong time to send one.

  • Can I see how their job search is going?

    No. You will be told when they claim the gift, and nothing else — not their applications, not their interviews, not whether they found something. That is deliberate: a gift that came with a progress report would be a worse gift.

  • What if they already have a Hey Vitae account?

    It works the same way. They redeem the code on the account they already have and it covers them for six months from that day. They do not need a new account and nothing they have already done is lost.

  • What if they never claim it?

    We will email you about a month later so it does not quietly go to waste, with the link to forward them yourself. The code stays good for a year. If the address was wrong, reply and we will reissue it.

  • Can I get a refund?

    Gifts are not refundable. Once a code is claimed the six months belong to somebody else, and there is no way to take that back. What we can do: if you sent it to the wrong address, reply to your confirmation and we will reissue the code, and if it is still unclaimed you can forward it to somebody else yourself — it stays good for a year.
