What jobs could you do, given what you've actually done?

Paste your resume — or just the parts you want read — and get real job titles you could go for, sorted by how far a reach each one is. Every suggestion points at the line that earns it.

Paste your resume

As much or as little as you like — just the roles you want read is fine, and you can leave your name and contact details out entirely.

Under a minute. You'll see the whole read.

Reading a resume, answered

Where do the job titles come from?
They are read from your resume, not looked up in a list of open jobs. Every suggestion has to point at something specific you wrote — a number, a tool, a named project — and a title that is only your current one with a synonym swapped is not a suggestion. That is why the titles are specific to you rather than the same handful everyone gets.
What do the bands mean?
Ready now means a recruiter would put your resume in the yes pile today with no explanation needed. A real reach means the resume obviously belongs in the pile and the only question is whether you are strong enough — each one names what you would have to argue past. A different path means the skills carry but the field does not, so expect to explain the move and possibly step back in title or pay.
Do I have to upload a file?
No — pasting is the default and works just as well. Paste only the roles you want read, and leave your name and contact details out entirely if you would rather. Uploads accept PDF, DOCX or TXT up to 4MB.
Is my resume stored?
No. It is read to produce the titles and then discarded — nothing is written to our servers. It stays in this browser tab, which is why closing the tab loses it. If you create an account, the resume you gave the tool comes with you and becomes a document you own.

What is Hey Vitae

A system, not a tracker.

Most job searches happen in the dark. Hey Vitae keeps the whole search in one place — jobs, documents, interview prep, and what's actually working — so you spend less time managing tabs and more time on the roles you can win.
