Hey Vitae Coaching Is Here. Let’s Skip the Catch-Up.

A shared workspace for career coaches, their clients, and the organizations supporting the search.

You booked a coaching session to work on your job search. Somehow, the first chunk of it goes to remembering which job you applied for, finding the resume you sent, and explaining why the company in your spreadsheet has three slightly different names.

Your coach is ready to help. Your browser has other plans.

Hey Vitae Coaching is available now: a workspace for career coaches and the people they support, built around the actual work of a job search. It brings the applications, documents, interview prep, and coaching context into a place you can use together.

The goal is pretty straightforward. Spend less of the session reconstructing the week and more of it deciding what to do next.

One search, with someone in your corner

Hey Vitae already gives job seekers a place to organize roles, tailor their materials, and prepare for interviews. Coaching adds a way to bring a real person into that process.

A coach sends an invitation. The client reviews what the practice can access and chooses whether to connect. Once connected, the coach can see the shared search context: tracked roles and stages, resumes and cover letters, upcoming interviews, and preparation.

That means a conversation can start with “Let’s look at the role you’re interviewing for Thursday” instead of “Can you forward me that thing again?”

It also means the coach can look at the work in context. A resume bullet is easier to discuss when the role it needs to support is right there.

Feedback that stays attached to the work

A useful coaching relationship needs more than a dashboard to look at. Coaches can contribute in concrete ways:

  • Suggest a job with their reasoning attached, so the client can review it and decide.

  • Comment on a specific line of a resume or cover letter.

  • Draft a resume version and offer it to the client, who can open it in their own editor.

  • Keep session notes and follow-up tasks beside the relevant work, including private coaching notes.

  • Purchase and share practice interview sessions so a client can rehearse for a specific role.

An offered resume draft is attributed to the coach and does not replace the client’s default resume. Suggestions remain suggestions. The person doing the search still makes the decisions.

We think that distinction matters. Help should feel like help.

Built for one coach or a whole practice

If you work independently, you can keep your client roster and session context together. If you work as a team, you can organize caseload assignments, use tags and cohorts, and see which clients need attention.

The workspace also supports offline client records for people who have not connected a Hey Vitae account, roster imports, and exports of practice records. An offline record helps a practice organize its own work; it does not grant access to someone’s private job search.

For teams running a program, reporting can show progress by coach, cohort, or date range. Outcome records help preserve what happened when an engagement closes.

The point is to make the administrative work manageable enough that it leaves room for the coaching.

Organizations can support people in two ways

Some organizations want to fund job-search tools for a group. Others have coaches who will work alongside those people. Some need both.

Our organization options explain the difference. Coverage provides Hey Vitae access for a group through redemption codes. The coaching workspace supports the ongoing relationship between a practice and clients who choose to connect.

Funding access does not give the buyer a window into each person’s applications. Coverage reporting and permission to view a client’s search are separate things. If your program needs both coverage and coaching, the organization pages are the place to start that conversation.

Permission is part of the product

Connecting a coach does not hand over your account.

A connected practice does not get access to your inbox, message threads, contacts, billing, or account settings. Coaches cannot apply or send messages as you. Their contributions are identified as theirs, visits are recorded for you to see, and you can end access.

That leaves room for an honest coaching conversation without making your entire digital life part of the meeting.

Start with the next session

You do not need to reorganize your whole practice before trying this. Start with one client, one upcoming conversation, and the work you would otherwise be emailing back and forth.

If you are a coach, explore the Coaching Workspace. If you are supporting a group through a university, training program, employer, or other organization, start with Hey Vitae for organizations.

And if you are the person looking for a job, bring your next real question. The resume that is not landing. The interview you are nervous about. The role you cannot decide whether to pursue.

That is the useful part. Let’s get there sooner.

The bottom line

A tracker records your search.
This is the system that runs it.
